Native to the Texas Hill Country, Cedar Elm is a large, upright-shaped deciduous tree reaching 50 to 70 ft tall and 25 to 40 Ft. wide. Very hardy, grows in adverse conditions, it tolerates both dry and wet soils once established. Its small rough leaves turn bright yellow before the leaf drops in the fall. This tree also provides seeds and a nesting habitat for wildlife. A medium growth rate and drought resistance make this tree a good choice.
